The reason that we chose Atlan was because of the API infrastructure. We can do things in an automated way so we can get anything out, and anything in that we need to, and it embeds directly in our engineering processes.

We also chose Atlan because of the shift-left philosophy. The way that you approach the catalog is with that point of view or perspective in mind.

And the last thing I’ll say is you’ve been great partners. We’ve come with some out-of-the-box thinking, and we’ve said “This is what we want to do,” and your team has never said “Oh, I’m not sure we can do that.” Your team has always said, “We can do that, just give us some time, tell us about what you want to accomplish, and we’ll make that work.

Those would be the top three things (reasons for choosing Atlan).

As for all the other tools? I think they’re old. I think they’re not modern. I don’t think they carry the same kind of point-of-view.
